How do I get started?

Its very simple. Just follow these steps:
1. Sign-up for a Jobseekers account from just $29
2. Once your payment has been received you can login to start you job search.
3. Create or upload your CV - you can have multiple CVs for different occupations.
4. Create or upload your Cover Letters - you can have multiple Cover Letters for different occupations.
5. You may also upload your photo and/or a video presentation of yourself.
6. Once your CV is created, potential employers can find you in our database.
7. You also have the option of searching for jobs available and applying to these jobs.
8. You will also be able to see a list of jobs you have previously applied to on GulfStarJobs.com. |

On the homepage, click on the “Sign-Up Today” button or click here to sign-up now.

Can I have a mutliple number of CVs which would suit different types of Jobs?

| Ofcourse, you can have upto 10 different CVs at any one time. |

How do I search for Jobs?
|
| On the homepage you can use the search box in the middle of the page or on the tope menu go to Find Jobs > Search Jobs and then enter your criteria. You may also click here to search jobs. |

How do I add my CV?
|
There are 3 ways to add your CV which you will find once you are registered and logged in.
Go to My Jobs > My CVs and you will find these options:
- You can Build Your CV Online through our template.
- You can Copy & Paste your CV directly from Word.
- You can Upload your Existing CV.

How do I attach a Cover Letter?
|
| First you need to create a cover letter and then simply include it with any jobs you apply for. A cover letter is a personalized letter you can include with your CV. It summarizes who you are, what you are interested in, and why you are suitable for the particular job. We recommend attaching a cover letter to your application as it helps differentiate you even further from the other candidates. |

How do I apply for Jobs?

| First you need to maintain your CV. Then you can simply search for jobs, save them and then apply for each job. |

What are Saved Jobs?
|
| As a Job-Seeker you can save job postings and refer back to them later which is very useful for applying to jobs that you have searched for. |

Can I keep track of jobs that I have applied to?
|
| This is automatically done for you and you can view your applications by logging in to you account and then clicking on My Jobs > My Applications on the top menu. |

How do I know my CV is visible in searches by Employers?
|
In order to check the status of your CV, you will have to select any one of the 2 settings – Public or Private.
- Public - Your CV will have the most visibility to the broadest employer audience possible. Your CV will be visible in employer searches of the CV database. Employers will be able to view your complete CV and contact information.
- Private - This provides you with the highest level of confidentiality. Your CV will not appear in employer searches of the CV database. Employers cannot contact your otherwise.

Can I also create a cover letter which can be sent with my application?

| Ofcourse, you can create a cover letter once as a registered Job Seeker. Login to your account and then click on My Jobs > My Cover Letters on the top menu. |

Can I upload a video presentation of myself so that potential Employers can view this?
|
| Yes, this is an innovative feature that allows you to upload a 3-minute video of yourself. A great way to impress potential employers. |

| No. No recruitment service or agency can guarantee you a job.
